Have you fallen for the knitwear from the movie The Banshees of Inisherin? Well they have certainly caused a media frenzy around the globe and our very own Delia Barry (photographed above by Ellius Grace for the New York Times) has become somewhat of a celebrity. Delia has long been a supporter of Greystones Cancer Support having lost her sister and husband Paddy to cancer a number of years ago. Delia, who has been an avid knitter since she was a child, joined a knitting group through Greystones Cancer Support and found friendship and comfort from this group. What we didn’t realise was that she was already rubbing shoulders in celebrity circles having previously knit for Meryl Streep, Jude Law and she also taught Emily Watson from Little Women how to knit for the movie role.

Delia has often donated some of her earnings to us over the years but this year is offering to knit a specially made Aran Jumper (‘sweater’ for you guys across the pond) in a design and colour of your choosing! The winner will get to choose one of 4 Aran Jumper designs shown below.

We are so lucky to have this prize generously offered to us by Delia and are thrilled to be sharing this raffle with all her fans, and fans of the movie of course.
