Celebrate Community and Support at the 2024 Greystones Picnic in the Park!
Join us for an unforgettable day of fun, entertainment, and community spirit at the 2024 Greystones Picnic in the Park, proudly presented in partnership with Greystones Cancer Support, celebrating 30 incredible years of service, and the Greystones Town Team, a dedicated group of volunteers who put on this event every year. This great family event is set to take place on Saturday, August 3rd, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and promises an afternoon filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
This year’s Picnic in the Park offers an exciting lineup of performers and activities that will delight attendees of all ages. Bring your picnic blanket and a delicious picnic, and prepare for a day brimming with entertainment, including:
- Peter Donnelly, the beloved children’s author, who will be doing live readings and book signings that will captivate the young and young-at-heart.
- Robbie Doyle, a talented singer whose melodies will set the perfect backdrop for a summer afternoon.
- The mesmerizing performances of Greystones Baton twirlers, showcasing their incredible skills.
- Tadgh Conway, another sensational local singer, adding to the musical delights of the day.
- The enchanting magic of Juliette & Dee from JD Magicians, sure to leave you spellbound.
- Special appearances by young singers Kate Kavanagh and Abiha Mansoor from Kim Hayden music school
- Joe Daly, RTE Junior’s favourite magician, will dazzle and entertain the little ones with his magical antics.
- Greystones Cancer Support Choir Canadh le Cheile will also perform on the day
In addition to the stellar lineup of performers, the event will feature a host of fun children’s games, entertaining face painters, and many more surprises designed to keep the entire family entertained throughout the afternoon.
This year, we are taking the opportunity to use the Picnic in the Park to mark the 30th birthday of Greystones Cancer Support.
