Well done to our GCS Canadh Le Chéile singing group !!
They sang at a Heritage Week Event at St. Crispin’s Cell in Rathdown Lower.
Great participation and they did GCS proud.
Thanks to all who came along and lent their voices to a great event.
The afternoon also included children’s art work and local history.
St. Crispin’s has been developed beautifully and is now a local resource.
The church has been tidied up, paths have been laid, flowers planted.
An information sign gives the history of the site.
Picnic tables have arrived and are waiting for you to have your lunch outside !!
St. Crispin’s and Rathdown was the main place where people lived centuries ago.
They did not live in Greystones village.
The town only developed after the arrival of the railway.
Thank you to Greystones Tidy Towns for all your hard work !!
